Davidson began his design by working with photographs. "But
it's a difficult subject to photograph because of its curves and
its super-reflective surface." He spent a full day taking pictures
of Oscar, then set to work making rudimentary sketches. "So I wanted
to know what would make it bright and eye-popping from across town,
on buildings or street banners? We did an outdoor campaign with
street pole banners, taxicab toppers, telephone kiosks and bus shelters.
The Oscars show was promoted on TV and the web via commercials,
bumpers, animated banners and snipes that stem from Davidson's design.
This grieving woman is nursing her only remaining child.
She lost her husband two children and her home. Help us to make
